La Sociedad Meteorológica y la Sociedad Fotográfica del Reino Unido anunciaron los finalistas del «2016 Weather Photographer of the Year competition», un concurso para seleccionar al mejor fotógrafo meteorológico del año. De más de 800 entradas, los jueves seleccionaron las fotografías finalistas, dejando el voto final en manos del público. Estos son algunos de los finalistas:
