Con esa misma idea en mente, la joven de 27 años creó este año una cuenta de Instagram titulada “The Press Tour”, donde empezó a compartir todos los looks que usó en la gira de promoción de La Bella y la Bestia, acreditando a los equipos que los diseñaban. Muchos de los diseñadores con los que trabajó, como Stella McCartney, utilizan materiales reciclados hace años. Los outfits de Emma Watson fueron verificados como “verdes” por Eco-Age, una compañía que promueve la sustentabilidad a través de principios básicos como la polución y la producción de telas.
Sus conjuntos están hechos con materiales reciclables, no utilizan productos que dañan el medio ambiente y no provienen de trabajos ilegales en los que se realiza explotación laboral. The mill specialises in the highest quality couture fabrics, and is committed to reducing its environmental impact, including investing in solar energy and committing to removing all toxic chemicals from its supply chain by 2020. The hand embroidered silk taffeta panels have been cut and folded by hand, shaped using natural starch. The dress also features a repurposed zip from an unused sample. Tonight was a special screening of @beautyandthebeast in London. The film was shown at the Odeon Leicester Square cinema to 1,600 people after a reception at the stunning Spencer House ???? The gown is made from end-of-line fabric sourced from a family-run, London business specialising in couture fabrics, and produced in Italy.
